Things I Want To Do This Month

Take Long Walks/Prepare For Christmas/Bake More
/Drink More Costa/Get Myself Organised/Spend More Time with This Girl!

Take more walks; Since moving in with my boyfriend and out of the country a bit the time for walks are not that often and getting into autumn I find myself craving long walks in the crisp air along fields of leaves and towering trees. Followed by hot chocolate of course, it would be rude not too!!

Prepare for Christmas; With time flying by so quickly I cannot believe we have 6 weeks until Christmas! How excited I am for this I have still so much to do, so this means cracking down next week and ordering the Christmas cards, buying more gifts and making some crafts!

Bake More; As I mentioned in my last post I went to a cupcake decorating class last month for a friend’s birthday. Since then I have been waiting to get an afternoon to get out the Cook Books, Decorations and Oven Gloves and bake up some treats in the kitchen!

Drink More Costa; Most people would say they wish to drink less Costa however, i am loving Gingerbread Lattes during the colder months so much, they taste exactly like Christmas for me and are perfect are a shopping trip, a long catch up with the best friend and who needs a better excuse to drink them other than they are so yummy!

Get Myself Organised; Ok! So, I’m not the most organised person in the world, but with Christmas around the corner and money going out as quick as it comes into the bank, I need to make sure I spend wisely and organise myself. Cleaning out the cupboards, getting rid of unworn Makeup and anything else that needs some organising! There is nothing more satisfying that writing a list!

Spend more time with my Best Friend; As I mentioned earlier, I have moved out with my boyfriend, and seeing as my best friend lives down the road from my parents house we saw each other most days! Although we talk practically every day on the phone, we defiantly need to meet up for dinner more! Miss them girly nights with movies and junk food!

Autum is here!

Gingerbread Latte|Cupcake Course|Downton Abbey Obsession|Almond Body Butter|
Christmas PJs| Traditional London Christmas Trip

Autumn is defiantly here, I love the time of year when everyone turns from Flip Flops and Strap Tops to Boots, Scarves and Chunky Cardigans. Although I love summer sitting in the garden, glass of wine in hand there is something about curling up on the sofa on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon watching films and drinking a Hot Chocolate.

This week more than ever I have found myself reaching for the warm comforts of autumn. A Gingerbread latte is defiantly a firm favourite after a hard afternoons shopping!

For my best friends birthday I treated us both to A afternoon Cupcake Decorating class which was so much fun. Every kind of decoration at hand we were completely in our element.

I have just started watching Downton Abbey, a bit late I know I had heard so many people talk about it and needed to see what all the fuss was about, I borrowed the DVDs off a relative and sat down on a Sunday afternoon and began to watch them and what can I say I have completely fallen for it! My Sunday nights are just not complete without them!

This Almond body butter I purchased in July at The Body Shop, I absolutely love it; it smells so yummy. Its gorgeous buttery consistency really softens and sooths your skin great for after baths! I do hope they still sell this!!

I am a sucker for Christmas time, it is without a doubt my favourite time of year, with a big family i like to start early to get it all done in time. I was shopping in Primark last month and came across these Christmas PJs and had to have them! They are so very comfy and cosy! And may need to buy another pair!

Every year my best friend and I travel up to London to visit a Christmas market, there is nothing we like more than mooching around looking at quirky gifts for loved ones, eating and drinking all day!
This year we are going to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park! Defiantly looking forward to this one!

I have recently been searching for a new skincare brand to try. I have oily/combination skin and suffer quite badly with breakouts so after watching review after review of different products i was still undecided on what to try, it wasn't until i was shopping in my local ASDA store last week that i came across Nspa.

Firstly I was really impressed by the look of their packaging and for the price of product i personally think they look quite expensive.

All the facial products have the same scent which is clean, refreshing and makes you feel awake which I think is really important to make you feel clean, fresh and ready for the day. The scent isn't overpowering which I personally don't like in a facial product as it can feel too harsh for sensitive skin.

The cleanser comes out in mousse form, i use 2 pumps which i think is plenty for the face and neck area. It foams easily and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

The face scrub has a creamy formula with small exfoliating beads which arnt to scratchy on your skin but just enough to make your skin feel soft and smooth. The only thing I would add is that personally i like to use a exfoliator that lathers up and this remains creamy. which is great if you have normal/sensitive skin however if you suffer with oily/combination skin i feel you sometimes need something a little extra cleansing.

The Toner comes in spray form which I think is really nice as it feels really refreshing and for me is great as i normally find it easy to use too much toner when tipping it onto a cotton pad.

The moisturiser is really creamy, but not oily, it quickly sinks into your skin leaving it hydrated and looking brighter. and is great for using under your makeup. I have been using this for the night time too and i think my skin needs something a little more moisturising for night time and will definitely be buying the night cream to give it a go!

I have been using these products for nearly 2 weeks now after suffering a month of breakouts, dull dry skin and I have noticed a really good improvement. I am a strong believer that with all cosmetics you get what you pay for but for the price of these products they are definitely worth giving a go!

All the products i bought from ASDA and retailed for
Deep Cleansing Face Wash  £3.50
Brightening Detox Scrub £4.00
Revitalising Vitamin Toning Mist  £2.50
Brightening Day Cream with SPF 15  £5.00

So here it is, my first ever blog :)

I have had this blog for a while and not had any inspiration on what to base my first ever blog on!

So I have looked around, made myself at home and decided a month on, this would be the perfect time to dip my feet in the sea of blogging.

So Hi! I’m Aimie; a hairdresser from down south!

I will be trying my very hardest to write a blog as often as I can on little interesting things that go on in my day to day life, beauty reviews and pretty much anything else that takes my fancy!

So that’s it! I’m fairly new to this (as you can probably all tell!) so please bare with me :)

Any comments/advice will be greatly appreciated.
